"It
is better to have a paint job, exterior wise, if wood, every 3
to 5 years. Intermittently, keep an eye on window cells, wood
work, check ot see window peeling or any openings and get that
repaired so you don't end up with rotten wood. Just keep an eye
since wood tends to decay and it's not forever. If you have a
good paint job, it should last for years but nothing lasts forever
except the word of God.
Inside renovations: if you're a smoker, you should smoke outside
because the cost of painting a smoker's house compared to the
cost non-smokers house. It runs usually, 30-40% more because there's
generally cleaning involved. So if you smoke in your house, your
house is goin to smell like smoke and you should paint every 3
years.
We tend to put up with whatever we have for years and years and
what happens to be our largest investment of our entire life,
we disregard. We fali to give attention to the walls, the ceilings
and live with what we have. On a personal level, i think someone
should repaint a home at least, every 7 years to freshin things
up, assuming you're a non-smoker. This help you have a new outlook
on life, because you care about your home, because you care about
your life. Your house doesn't have to be a mess, it doesn't have
to have holes in your walls, you don't have to have problems with
your paint in order to freshen things up. But after 7 years maximum,
you'll have fading, peeling and a familiarity in your home. It
is good for your health, your family, it says that you're changing
a little bit instead of staying the same. I believe, we shouldn't
stay the same. We need to move onward and upward and staying the
same tends to be boring. Move ahead in life, so at home where
you spend most of your time, it's a good place to start. We change
jobs, we change cars, we change fast food places, and so many
other things yet the majority forget about their home. They don't
like spending that kind of money but they'll spend $30,000 on
a car, $600 on tires, $200 on a brake job, which is a good thing
too, but when it comes to repainting your bathroom or kitchen,
we seem to forget. Think of it this way, you will never lose the
money you spend, on painting your house, if it's done by a professional,
or professionally. We can do it all, just call."
