Tips from Bill Johnson
when, choosing a painter.
1. They should check references.
2. Always be leery of the cheapest price. Some guys I've know,
you can never find them and are in for a quick buck. Those people
aren't going to be there to clean up their mess.
3. Don't pay up front except maybe a small deposit which doesn't
exceed more than 10%. Don't give them a deposit until they are
on site.
4. Sign a contract when possible. With us, we don't usually sign
contracts because it's more by our word and our customer's word.
However, we do have written quotes which state what exactly we
will be doing and sometimes what we will not be doing just so
there's no confusion. |
